If you have always done
it that way,

Consulting / Analysis
Connecting directly with a client is an important key to
discovering their needs and developing
solutions to solve their unique problems. I work
with clients to help them determine their needs, codify those
needs into documentation and act as the internal consultant
for designers and developers who build the final solution.
I act as the client advocate, carrying the client’s
vision throughout the development process and formulating
the technical requirements necessary to implement that vision.
I solve problems for clients/internal staff and
build balanced solutions that exceed expectations.
My consulting and analysis process has many benefits:
- Full understanding of client needs prevents “feature-creep”
- Clear and full documentation of system before development
- Drastic reduction of development time
- Clear definition of in-scope and out-of-scope requests
Technical documentation created as a result of the consulting
/ analysis process adds value to the organization by:
- Helping developers provide more accurate estimates
- Providing project managers with a comprehensive list of
actions
- Providing a history of functions to leverage into new
projects
- Helping to create consistent development results
